FIRST OF ALL, YOU HAVE TO CONNECT YOUR SE PHONE VIA 1. DATA CABLE OR 2. INFRARED PORT OR 3. BLUETOOTH.(TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT, PLZ. READ "how to connect your sony ericsson phone")

NOW,
1. to install wallpapers/screensavers
connect the phone > open "File Manager" > open "Pictures" > create any folder if you want & save it there.

2. to install sounds
connect the phone > open "File Manager" > open "Sounds" > create any folder if you want & save it there.

3. to install themes
connect the phone > open "File Manager" > open "Theme" > create any folder if you want & save it there.

4. to install java games/java applications
connect the phone > open "File Manager" > open "others" > create any folder if you want & save the ".jar" file there > then you will see "install" option > click on "install" & choose appropiate directory (either for games or for applications).

YOU MAY USE "MY PHONE EXPLORER", THEN TO INSTALL GAMES/APPLICATIONS, CLICK ON "INSTALL JAVA FILES" ICON IN YOUR PC.

important read this
1.please switch off phone and remove sim for best results while patching and editing
2.always hold c and connect data cable
3.if se tool or pc is not detecting ur phone install drivers{gg -setup} found in drivers/usb flash drivers folder in ur se tool folder this will help u.

these file contains
1.patches
2.patch to increase volume and make it very high really good and very high soundso procedure to apply.......extract the patches to a new folder etract till u find a .vkp file for example i want to apply blue battery patch then i will have to open se tool and select battery of blue.vkp file in mics folder and press button write script not any other buttonso pressing write script will take a few sec then press no to apply or yes to remove the patchon restarting u will see th effectsname and uses of patches1.3gp to mp4 will make the videos u captured or taken to .mp4 and not .3gp2.battery of blue will make the color of the battery blue3.photograph.... u will be able to take photos even when u r playing games4.reduce illu...u can make the level of light in keypad low or highto remove themselect the .vkp file and press write script now press yes.

To remove thats all to install the high volume patch open se tool and select the file add it to misc section and press flash not write script and it will be patched and we get good soundIMP THINK BEFORE APPLYING BCOZIT IS HARD TO RESRORE TO ORIGINAL SOUND but i am sure u will like lound and clear sound..

Ya. Its true.But, before all of these, you will need these:(plz. download them from d links; all links are checked.)

Now, remember these points:
1. From now onwards, all the steps that i'll follow is not officially permissible by SONY. so, do all these steps in your own risks. if your phone is dead, only & only you will be responsible. because all of these steps have been done successfully in my phone.
2. if the same(as i'll tale here) doesn't heppen to your phone then either you have missed any step or download the files properly.
3. most importantly, always keep backup before every step(as i'd suffered from this backup problem, i know how it sucks!).
4. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU DELETE/REPLACE ANY FILE because, later un-wanted replace/delete sucks!!!!

Now, get ready to do.here are the steps:
1. Download any SONY ERICSSON CUSTOMIZATION PACKS. you can get any pack. for example, i take here Vista Pack 2.0. for your convenience, i'm putting some links to some of them:::

2. Now, as I said, I’ll use the vista pack 2.0, unzip to a folder.
3. Also unzip the tool xs++ & my phone explorer.
4. Now, connect the data cable to your phone when the phone is on.
5. open my phone explorer. it has easy-to-ubderstand menues. yet, go to "extras" then "create backup"; now choose the destination in your pc & save the backup. this backsup all the contacts, images, themes, sound files etc. softwares.
6. after all of these, now, shut down phone & detach the datacable.
7. remove the battery.
8. remove the sim card.
9. again put the battery without putting the simcard.
10. From now onwards, eachtime, i ask for "detach phone/stop phone", you have to perform steps: 6, 7, 8 & 9.
11. now, start the xs++.
12. click "connect".
13. Now, pressing the "C" button firmly, plugin the datacable. you will see, that xs++ will detect your phone .
14. if xs++ doesnot, then perform the steps 6 to 13 again untill it detects.
15. after this, you may unpress the c-button now.
16. now, look there are 5 options at the last line of the xs++ interface : settings, flash, gdfs, sfx etc.
17. choose gdfs & press "create backup". this also backs up your current mode of phone not the softwares.
18. after gdfs back up is done, xs++ will ask you to disconnect phone, so “detach phone”(see step =10).
19. Again connect the phone(see: 12, 13 & 14).
20. after successful connection you can see like step 16. choose fsx(SORRY, I’VE MISPLACED FSX AS SFX IN PART 2).
21. click start. It will take about 1.5 – 2 minutes to appear the orginal file directory of your phone in the xs++ sub-frame.
22. click on tpa(click on the “+” sign not in the “tpa”. From now, whenever I call “click”; click on adjacent “+” sign).
23. so, go to: fs\tpa\preset\system\menu and here press "upload" & upload all the files of the directory "vista menu" under the directory of :Vista_Pack_2_0\Vista Pack 2.0\Vista Menu. all files means all the files: a menu.ml file & all the other *.png icon files.
24. now browse to: fs\tpa\preset\system\settings. delete all the 5 files from here. then upload the files of: "Startup and shutdown" under the directory: Vista_Pack_2_0\Vista Pack 2.0\Startup and shutdown.
25. You must now click 'shutdown' FSX. then click "close" & disconnect the datacable.
26. now, remove the battery, put the sim card, agaiin put the battery & start phone.
27. Bingo!!!! You have done it yourself!!! see!! all the icons have been changed. Menues have been rearranged!!! Its a new k320i.
28. But, one point. when we press "menu", it used to show 9 icons before customization. But, now, it shows 11 icons, among which 9 could be shown directly, then press your joystick downwars, you can see 2 more menues : "Games" & "Control Panel". Just like that!!!
29. So, enjoy it & try the other customization packs in the same way. if any problem occurs, post here comments.....

How do u use the Sony Ericsson k-series phones as remote for desktop,presenter and media player?

1st of all, u'll need a "Bluetooth Dongle" for that. You can buy it frm any hardware shop @ 200-250/-.

1. Connect the dongle in the USBport of ur pc/laptop.
2. Insert the accompanying cd of the dongle to install the dongle driver.
3. In ur fone, switch on the bluetooth option.
4. Now, from any side i.e., either from fone or from pc/laptop, search for a "new device".
5. After fruteful searching, both of them will ask for a "passcode"...remember, its NOT a "password". U can use any numbers. For example, I generally use, 1234. Its ur choice. Put it in both of them.
6. Now, ur fone is connected to ur pc/laptop fully.
7. In fone, go: Menu > Entertainment > Remote Control.
8. Now, choose the option, that u'll need i.e., either "Presenter"(its best for ppt presentation) or "Media Player"(its best for listening music/watching movies) or "Desktop"(its favourable for any desktop works).
9. Enjoy!!!!
